Jeff joined our staff while beginning enrollment at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to pursue his Master of Music in Church Music degree. While holding a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, he also has over ten years of vocational ministry experience and has enjoyed a variety of opportunities to lead worship: from prison and jail ministry to seminary chapel services, from children’s and middle school VBS to funerals and retirement community services.
In all of these opportunities, Jeff seeks to lead relationally – abiding by the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23) and encouraging others to do the same – and sees the Greatest Commandment (Matt. 22:37-40) of paramount importance, not only in his position as our Worship Associate, but also as a Christian man in an increasingly postmodern world. Ordained in April of 2013, Jeff sees his musical gifts not only as a tool to build up the body of Christ but also as a door to share the gospel with the un-churched, de-churched, and the lost.
Jeff and his wife, Grace, were married in 2005 and have three young children; Cayla joined the family in ‘08, Josh in ‘10, and Corinne in ‘13.
