The Adults 55+ Ministry of FBC Covington seeks to meet the needs of adults 55+, provide them with opportunities for service and reach adults 55+ in our community for Christ. We seek to achieve these goals by providing opportunities for fellowship, support and spiritual enrichment. We encourage you to participate in our Adults 55+ activities and to find your place of ministry in FBC.
Bible Study & Worship
Bible Study classes and Worship Services are provided for all adults 55+ every Sunday at 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00. Morning and evening Bible studies and Discipleship classes are provided. A directory of opportunities can be found on the website under Bible Fellowship Group and Equip Ministry on the Bible Studies page.
Young at Heart is the organization within our Adults 55+ ministry that provides a monthly program and fellowship luncheon. The luncheon / fellowship is held at 10:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Hall. (It usually takes place on the third Tuesday of each month with a few exceptions to accommodate holidays and/or special events.) This is a great time to make new friends and to enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship and great food. A program of inspiration, information, and/or entertainment is a special part of the morning. Young at Heart is open to all adults 55+ in our church and community.
