“It is written,” he said to them, “My house will be called a house of prayer.” Matthew 21:13
At First Baptist Church we believe that no greater privilege has been given to us than our ability to pray to a holy God with and for our church, community, and even those across the globe we hope to meet one day in glory.
This Prayer Wall is a place to share our praises, concerns, hopes, and fears not only with staff and our church body, but all those who visit this site. There are several options when posting prayer requests like they can be anonymous or not. Requests do not have be posted here at all, but it will prayed for by our staff.
There is power in prayer. Let’s approach His throne of grace and call on His Name for and with one another. Amen.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!

Please pray with us as our family moves through hard and painful seasons. We are thankful to the one, true living God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. HE causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him! Thank you for praying.

I am looking for joy amidst my time of grief. My husband passed in March and I am consumed. I attend Bible Study on Wednesday at FBCC. It is awesome. I will attend a service so I can hear the Pastor\’s word. I now attend Church of the King. I just know prayer is better in circles. Thank you. Praise God.

I'm making this prayer request because I need as much guidance as possible. I've found myself wanting to be closer to the lord and guide my children the absolute best that I can. I will be attending the church services this Sunday and will walk down to the alter to fully give my life to God. I will let go of my addictions and all other things that I know I'm doing wrong. But I'm scared that I won't have the proper guidance. That I may still be doing things that are wrong and possibly not know. I've been told that about 1% of people would make It to heaven when the rapture comes. I feel the lord Will come very soon to gather his people and I want to be prepared for that day!! Theres so many horrible things going on in the world. Please just pray that God will continue to keep guiding me and telling me what to do. I've been coming to fbc of Covington for many years now but not the way I should. The last time I went was months ago.
