Sunday Mornings
Here at First Baptist Church Covington, we love Sundays!! We invite your whole family to join us for a wonderful time of wor-ship, making new friends, and studying God’s word. We have worked very hard to provide an place for our special children that will meet their unique and special needs. From playrooms designed with your child in mind, to our swing room, to our newly purchased IPads and “comfy” chairs, FBC Covington seeks to provide an environment for your child that will give them a fantastic Sunday morning experience!! Our goal each week is for your child to leave this place with a nug-get of God’s word and memories of a special time with our loving teachers and volunteers.

LIFE
Parents, isn’t it nice when you get to talk to other parents that get it?!?! That’s what LIFE is all about. LIFE provides unique times for parents of special needs children to meet together for a time of renewal and encouragement. Come join us as we meet quarterly on Sunday mornings for a special time of Bible study and fellowship.

Hands in HAND hosts an annual Special Needs Family Festival and Expo. Join us each year as we celebrate the abundant life of special needs families with music, great food, fun games and activities, and lots of opportunities to make new friends. In addition, take this opportunity to meet vendors and agencies from all over who are focused on your special needs.
Hands in HAND hosts a monthly Respite Night for special needs individuals, up to age 25, and their siblings. Nite Life offers an opportunity for parents to enjoy a night off while their children enjoy crafts, movies, games, and other fun activities.
Nite Life is held one Friday evening a month from 7:00pm to 10:00pm and on select Saturday mornings throughout the year. There is no cost for this event.
There are trained volunteers as well as a nurse at each Respite Night to ensure that your children receive the best care. Parents must complete the following forms to enroll in Nite Life. Click on each one and print to complete. Reservations are required each month and space is limited, so we ask that you sign up early.

We invite special needs kids ages 12 and under and their siblings for an OLD FASHIONED FALL FESTIVAL. Join us for a night of bobbing for apples, hay rides, and much, much more…Dinner will be provided and fun is guaranteed!!!

We invite special needs teenagers for our 1st annual NITE LIFE AT THE ROC. Teenagers, we invite you to join us for a fantastic night of live music, great food, beach volleyball, and much more at our cool youth and outdoor recreational facility better known as the ROC!!!
