Follow Dr. Bailey through a line by line look at the Gospel of Luke to learn history, geography, and theology as well as giving the meaning of the text and its application for life. Luke, a Gentile physician who came to faith in Christ, wrote for a Roman leader known as Theophilus. He wanted Theophilus to “know the truth” concerning God’s work in sending Christ into the world. Luke said, “it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account” of God’s work.
