It’s finally here – the end of 2020.

This has been a year of challenges, it has been a year of changes, it has been a trying year, and as one of the Grinch memes described it … STINK, STANK, STUNK … but it has also been a good year.

A good year because God has brought us through it. We may have more scars – but those come with living in a fallen world.

So, as we look back on 2020 remembering that God is faithful and remembering all those who are hurting and grieving during this time.

Let us also look forward to 2021 with anticipation of what God will do.

I challenge you with the words of Paul:
Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be
evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer
and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

May God be glorified in 2021 – through His church – and through you and me.

Remember, time and love are precious – because afterwards what is left are the memories, so turn them into treasures that you take with you – not anchors of regret that tie you down.
