I want to let you know of some things we have coming up in the next two months.

First, Saturday/Sunday -February 20th – 21st I will start my new Sermon Series: FOCUS – a Look at Jesus as the Son of God.

• This series will be leading us up to Easter.

Second, Wednesday – February 24th at 6:45PM we will have our first congregational meeting of the year.

• We will use this time to conduct matters of business and to give you information about our ministries and the financial condition of First Baptist Church. One of the items of business will be to bring before you changes/additions to our by-laws as proposed by the Deacons. These changes/additions have to do with our Statement of Faith and include Spiritual Authority, Marriage, and sexuality.
• We will meet in Central Hall during the regular scheduled Pastor’s Bible Study. If you are able, I encourage you to be present. The meeting will last for about an hour.

Third, Wednesday – March 10th at 6:45 PM we will have our second congregational meeting.

• Our By-Laws require any/all changes to our By-Laws be done in a two-step process. So, this will be the second meeting where we will vote on accepting the changes discussed at the 2/24/21 Meeting.
