“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
Our Singles Ministry exists to help FBC's single adults grow in their relationships and dependence on Christ, connect with God and other believers, and serve according to their unique gifts and personalities. We seek to meet spiritual and emotional needs of God’s people through Bible study, fellowship and service. Together with God and each other, we are truly “Greater Than One”.
Meet with friends from FBC Singles Ministry for lunch after services or enjoy potluck fellowship at a group member’s home. We attend ball games and festivals as a group and coordinate movie nights to meet up and see the newest release. The Singles Ministry publishes a monthly calendar of events and welcomes everyone interested to attend. There are always great opportunities to fellowship and connect with the people of God at First Baptist Church.
We live out the command to "bear one another's burdens" here in our Singles Ministry. A member’s move becomes a great day of fun, fellowship, and hard work. Serious lawn or home maintenance becomes much less of a chore when accomplished as a group. Christmas caroling delights elderly church members and blesses participants during the holiday season. Service projects provide additional opportunities to grow as a group.
