We offer many opportunities for women to meet other women, enjoy fellowship, learn God’s Word, and serve in vital capacities in our church; some are especially for women in the congregation, while others serve the surrounding community as well.
Our desire is that God will use these programs to strengthen our women, our church, and our community so that we all find a place to belong and feel welcome.

CURRENTLY MEETING
BIBLE STUDY
Lessons 1-22 from our Fall study, Swaddled in Love, led by Martha Bailey, are still available for your viewing. This study, based on the Gospel of Mark, focused on Jesus – the gentle, loving, kind, and compassionate Jesus.
Our Fall Women’s Bible study will resume in September, 2023. The book to be studied will be announced shortly before then.

LATEST OUTREACH: PJ AND SOCK COLLECTION
A mission project for Northshore Enduring Hope
Northshore Enduring Hope provides resources for children in need in the Covington region. They host monthly foster parent support groups. They also sponsor a foster care supply facility which offers school supplies, baby items, toys, clothing, etc. and provides emergency bags for children first entering foster care. Northshore Enduring Hope also hosts a “Snack Shack” in the DCFS offices in the Covington region so when children come into custody or for a visit they have a healthy snack.

MISSIONS
Contempo is our Ladies Missions Group. While building meaningful relationships with each other, these women support local, state, and international missions. They meet quarterly or sometimes on an “as-needed” basis. Come enjoy fellowship and a meal with them as they plan their mission projects.

TENDER TOUCH
Tender Touch is our way to welcome new women to our church and encourage them to get connected with our community at FBC. We look forward to meeting these new women and to “touch” them with a special gift bag. Stop by the Hospitality Room!

We have groups that are just for women, or join a co-ed group—both are a great way to meet new people, be taught God’s Word, be “noticed, loved, and cared for” through the CG outreach.

SEWING & CRAFTING SERVANTS
A large group of women who are mission- oriented and make a wide variety of items that are used for local and global relief aid ministries.

MomCo (formerly MOPS) at First Baptist Church Covington is a place for moms to meet, take a break from motherly duties, be encouraged, and feel loved.
Choir & Orchestra
Join with men and women of all ages to praise God with our voices and to share our God-given gifts on a musical instrument.
Practice: Wednesdays 6:45pm – 8pm
Choir leads worship each week in the Sunday 9:30am service.

REFIT® is a Revolutionary fitness experience that changes people from the inside out. REFIT® workouts are for every woman regardless of age, shape, size or ability. The workout formula is easy to follow and will both challenge fitness enthusiasts and welcome beginners.
