Making the Biggest Differences

Have you considered what you might do to make real and substantial differences in your life?

I believe that there are four significant things that you could do to make the biggest difference in your life.

First, Learn to Live as Husband and Wife. Could anything make as big a difference for you? If you did this, it would change every day. Try this “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice” and be “kind and compassionate, forgiving each other” (Ephesians 4:31-32). What would happen if you applied that to your marriage?

Second, Teach Your Children to Discipline Themselves. Helping your children learn to control themselves will help them (and you) for the rest of their lives. The best discipline is to learn to discipline yourself. You will be giving everyone in the family a magnificent gift.

Third, Follow the Teachings of Jesus. Read the Bible to find what Jesus said and then practice it. You will find what I taught my daughters to be true: “Living for Christ does not mean that you won’t have problems, but living for Christ will give you the best life possible.” You will be amazed at what loving your neighbor will do for you!

Fourth, Connect With God. God raised Jesus from the dead. He is the firstfruits of the resurrection. God wants you to live with Him in eternity by connecting with Him and trusting in Christ. Connecting with God will supply you with peace, joy, hope, and eternal life. Remember, eternity is a long time to be wrong.

Easter is about God making the biggest difference in your life. Trust Him and experience life change.
