I’ve often said that Wednesday nights are the best kept secret at FBC, and this last Wednesday night reminded me why I feel this way.
In addition to a large attendance, these are the things we had this week – and have every week as we meet together.
First, we have something for every age group and for everyone in the family. Preschoolers are loved and cared for. Children are taught “biblical learning” and “spiritual training.” Students (teens) enjoy biblical truth and theological meaning in a place of fun and fellowship. Adults of all ages hear the Word of God and learn to apply its timeless relevance. And there are also ministry Support Groups: DivorceCare and GriefShare.
Second, Wednesday nights are a blessing because it gives another opportunity for the church to come together in Christian Fellowship. This past Wednesday night we had people from all three worship hours joining together for the study of the Book of Revelation; which helps make the church “smaller” and encourages us to get to know other believers.
I want to thank you for joining with us this past Wednesday, and I want to encourage you to continue to seek God in all aspects of your life.
Thanks to all of you for being you. I pray that God would bless His Church.
