Thank you for joining us for worship! Today we start a new Series: NEXT STEP and are emphasizing Serving God and Living in Humility before Him. I pray this will be a meaningful time of worship for you.
While the worship service is for all of us, today emphasizes our Deacon Ministry. We elect deacons who will be an example in becoming like Christ and who will serve the Lord and His church.
Very briefly, at the end of our service, we will introduce our three newly serving deacons and pray for God’s blessings as they serve. They are Doyle Holloway, Wayne Peltier, and Diamonte Venson. Diamonte is a newly selected deacon, and we are using this time as his ordination service.
We also want to give you those men who are serving as deacons this year.

Our deacons met for organization this past Sunday. They elected the following officers: Chuck Rich, Chair; Jason Coffey, Vicechair; Scot Martin, Secretary.
Please be in prayer for all of these men in the coming year.
As you know, we are renovating Central Hall to make it fit into the rest of the building. That renovation is coming along quickly, and we want you to see the progress. We will have the building open for a “sneak peek“ this coming Wednesday night from 6:00-6:45PM. Please come see the progress – and then we would love to have you stay and join us for Bible Study – or one of the EQUIP classes that will be starting on that evening.
