Welcome to worship!
It is going to be a great year! We started back Wednesday Night Activities this week and Connect Groups and Children’s Church this weekend.
As much as I love the holidays, it is nice to be back in our regular schedule.
We offer many areas for you to connect through fellowship and dive deeper into God’s Word. Please consider as this new year gets underway to find a small group to join, (if you are not already in one). Small groups are where everyday life meets God’s Word with God’s people. This is the group that will laugh with you, cry with you, pray for you, and encourage you.
Let me give you a few things that you need to know about the start of 2023.
- Sunday, January 8th we welcome Frank Turek who will preach in both 9:30 & 11:00AM Worship Services. Frank is one of the foremost leaders in the field of Christian Apologetics (giving a reason for the hope we have in Christ). Mr. Turek is the founder and president of Christian apologetics ministry CrossExamined.org. He is the author of the book, I Don’t Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist.
- Wednesday, January 11th is Taco Night. 5:30-6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Register by January 9th at www.fbccov.org. Kids $5 and Adults $7 All Wednesday Night Activities resumed last week
- Saturday – Sunday, January 14th & 15th will begin our new sermon series concerning being people after God’s own heart entitled A Heart Pleasing to God.
At the conclusion of each service, we will pray over our Deacons – including the three newly serving deacons and ask God‘s blessings upon them and their families.
May God richly bless His Church in 2023.
