I want to let you know of some revisions of Pastor responsibilities. These changes were made to re-align areas of ministry as we continue to grow and reach our community.
Minister of Growth and Leadership—Clif Smith
Build and strengthen all areas of congregational leadership such as Deacons, Ushers, First Impressions, Parking Lot Greeters, etc.
- Actively work with and advise the staff and leadership of FBC Kenner and New Orleans Korean Church– name changed from Metairie Korean.
- Oversee and provide leadership in formulating church policies with regards to church safety and security.
- Continue to work closely with church leadership on needed upgrades and renovations.
Minister of Discipleship—Bill Boren
Build and strengthen all areas of congregational discipleship through Connect Groups and Equip classes.
- Work closely with Bible fellowship leaders in helping them to grow existing classes as well as creating new classes.
- Work alongside Family Life to provide a comprehensive plan of spiritual growth and development for every person in our congregation.
Minister of Family Life—Josh Jordan
Work with all types and all seasons of family life among our congregation from single adult families to families approaching an empty nest.
- Work side by side with the Preschool, Children, Student, and College Ministry pastors and leadership and continue to build bridges as families move into each new season of family life.
- Work alongside Discipleship to provide a comprehensive plan for spiritual growth and development for every person in our congregation.
