Lagniappe

Christmas Eve Services

I hope that you have taken the time to read and reflect on the passages of Scripture that I wrote about  last week in my Lagniappe to help get you ready for the Biblical perspective of Christmas.

There is truth in the movie line from How the Grinch Stole Christmas “Maybe Christmas he thought  doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.” As Christians we KNOW  that Christmas means MUCH more.

So, with that in mind, I want to invite you to set apart times to worship with the people of God. Make the  Lord’s Day a time to give worship and adoration to God.

CHRISTMAS EVE Worship with us on Friday, Christmas Eve at 1:00, 3:00, or 5:00 PM. The music and joy of that special time is truly a blessing. Childcare – birth through 2 years – will be available by  RESERVATION ONLY – contact Darlene at ddrivon@fbccov.org to reserve a place for your young one.

CHRISTMAS DAY Saturday we will not have Saturday Connect Groups or Service.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 26th – we will have Services at 9:30AM and 11:00AM. Childcare for Preschoolers  will be on a regular Sunday schedule – but NO children, youth, or adult Connect Groups.

NEW YEARS DAY Saturday we will not have Saturday Connect Groups or Service. SUNDAY, JANUARY 2nd – we will resume our regular schedule.

I pray that God will truly bless you as you celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas.
